Vice President of Product Development (DEVELOPMENT HEAD PDU IP ROUTERS), 2010-Present
Head of the unit responsible for the development of Ericsson IP Routers for Edge, Metro and Aggregation space. Full life
cycle ownership of the following products: Smart Services Router (SSR), Smart Edge (SE), smart Packet Router, Ericsson
Router 6000 and Ericsson Virtual Routers. Also used as platforms for the strategic Fix and Mobile applications run
including among others BRAS, CDN, MBH and Evolved Packet Gateway for LTE/WCDMA/WIFI.
Global workforce of 1000+ engineers across USA, Canada, Germany, Hungary, China, Italy, Finland and India. Manage
technology strategy, project planning and execution, operations management as well as financial control for HW, custom
ASIC, SW, backend test and customer support team.
· Delivered first commercially deployed fully virtualized framework for Ericsson and third party Applications.
· Introduced SSR product, delivered multiple releases on time with high quality and deployed it in 100+ operators
worldwide.

Organization was formed after the acquisitions of Entresphere, Marconi and Ericsson own access development.
The organization was roughly 800+ engineers distributed across USA, Italy, Denmark and China. Drove
strategic planning, for E2E HW & SW development and customer support. Products included Point 2 Point Fiber
Nodes, GPON ONTs and OLTs, IPDSLAMs, EMS and site solutions and cabinets.
· Consolidated the acquisitions into a single development unit and reduced overhead by 20%.
· Delivered GPON product to Tier 1 customers in US.

Status, Radio Network Controller and Media Gateway.

Oversaw the customer support organization consisting in the RAN 3rd line support as well as the customer support

· Developed a comprehensive improvement plan between R&D and selected Market Units geared towards a faster
and less troublesome rollout of RAN SW.
